General Motion Connector (GMC) Amphenol® Sine Systems GMC Connector General Motion Connector (GMC) Amphenol® Sine Systems GMC Connector General Motion Connector (GMC) Versatile new member of the Amphenol connector family that incorporates design simplicity and durability to provide the customer with an operator friendly, robust connector system.  In the development of this product we have teamed with key Servo Motor manufactures and other OEM partner companies throughout the world to provide the latest design demands of the Servo Motor industry.  Available on a global scale, GMC offers an exceptional price-to-performance ratio.  The GMC consists of a die cast zinc receptacle (approximately a 47mm x 47mm interface mounted to the user’s interface) and two die cast zinc plugs, one power (which houses 3 power, one Protected Earth, and two signal (brake) circuits) and one signal (which can house up to 18 signal circuits).  The plugs are held into the receptacle via a plastic latch, providing durable service and quick, easy serviceability when the connector system requires de-coupling.  No threaded fasteners are involved for coupling.  The latches can also be mounted on the receptacle, depending on customer requirements.  Cable strain relief/sealing for the plugs is provided via IP-67 rated fittings which, when combined with Amphenol supplied EMC clamps, provide 360 degree shielding between the cable and plug.  Relief/shielding can also be realized in a molded version which is ideal for applications requiring that the cable exit at a 90 degree angle to the plug.  All face sealing is accomplished with Viton seals, which provide excellent chemical and temperature resistance.  There are two plug seals and one receptacle-to-customer interface seal.  The receptacle seal is designed such that the receptacle can be mounted four ways; in 90 degree intervals.     For more information on these products, please contact the Amphenol Mexico sales office closest to your location.
